About Us

Pioneer/Owner Elmar Diment, is a veteran of the L.A. Underground movement. Elmar is a pioneer in his own right. Founder of Beat-Non-Stop on Melrose in 1991 then Groove Riders in 1995. Elmar started the first ever DJ School for the vinyl dj. He also produced Mixx and Trixx a World Reknown DJ Course Box Set. Groove Riders has withstood the test of time and change thanks to Spin Daddy! He's also is a very skilled dj and also teaches the DJ School courses provided by Groove RIders.

Since 1995 Groove Riders has been a pioneering source of the underground culture in Southern California. Combining free thinking of the innovators with the lifestyle which represents creativity, fun, and most importantly the music. Our knowledgeble staff hand picks an extensive collection of new releases that are updated on the daily basis. You can also find a library of hard to find and out of print titles . Groove Riders offers tickets to all major events. Some of our regular customers include: Shaq, Billy Blanks, Carmen Electra, Samuel L.
